KDA304: Design Futures & Catalogue

Design Futures challenged me to think beyond individual products and consider how design can respond to wider systems, experiences and future needs.

Through research, testing and iteration, I developed ARRIVE from an initial relocation concept into a connected physical and digital welcome system focused on exploration, connection and belonging.

The final outcome reflects both my interest in human-centred design and my development as a designer working across branding, systems and experience design.

Below is the cohort catalogue I designed for the class, where I was responsible for the cover design, illustrations, overall layout, and final editing. The catalogue brought the graduating cohort's work together into a consistent visual identity and publication.

KDA304: Design Futures | Student Catalogue

THREADS is the 2026 Design Futures cohort catalogue, showcasing graduating Bachelor of Design students and their final projects.

I developed the visual identity, cover design, illustrations and overall publication layout, bringing a wide range of student work together into one cohesive system.

The concept of “threads” represents the cohort's different ideas, experiences, and design directions, connected through a shared design education and transition into professional practice.
